Portable Carts for All Popular Steel Barricades
Move crowd control barriers faster and with less handling
The key advantage of using this cart is that the units are stored on the cart. That way if barricades need to moved to reach something stored behind them, (storage space being always a problem at facilities) the employee does not have to move barriers one by one. That is why table, chairs, and risers are always stored on similar carts.
Then, when they need to use any number up to 28, just one employee can carry or pull the cart of barricades to the site, unload and use what is needed. When no longer needed at that site, one employee can reload just that one time and move the cart back to its storage location. Thus barriers are handled only once for set up, and only once for removal.
So we have two obvious advantages:
I.) Reduces repetitive handling
II.) Stock is shifted in blocks of 28 at a time
All of this reduces the number of personnel needed, and the time needed, to perform the tasks. Bottom line is reduced labor costs, and much faster set up. Most facilities use Cushman style electric carts that pull wagon like trailers. So even if they have little trailer carts pulled by a Cushman electric cab, they still have to load the trailer, unload at the site. Plus, the amount of space is limited to 7 or 8 frames at a time on each trailer cart. This works, but not as well as a dedicated barrier cart.
Quickly move barricades from storage to the front line
Save time and labor -- use carts to load and unload barriers - once!
Both models accommodate nearly all barrier variations
Two size options help whether you need to move 5 or 50
Improving Your Efficiency
Blockader introduced portable barrier carts in 1995. Each new design has improved the strength and efficiency of the cart. Our latest improvements enable you to save even more time and labor.

Barriers often slide off fork-lifts when transferred without carts
Spend less time, labor moving barriers
One or two people (by hand)...... 1 barrier at a time
Basic push cart...... 8 barriers at a time
Forklift alone...... 15 barriers at a time
One large cart...... 28 barriers at a time
Two carts...... 56 barriers at a time
Large Portable Cart
Expanded capacity! With a forklift, you now can push and pull 56 barriers at a time.
